Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of LokuDeals.lk (the “Service”), operated from Sri Lanka by LokuDeals (“we”, “us”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

What LokuDeals is

LokuDeals is a directory that lists deals, offers, and bank promotions from third-party merchants and financial institutions, alongside related editorial pages. We are not the merchant or the bank, we do not sell products or services, and we do not process payments. Any purchase, booking, redemption, application, or other transaction is strictly between you and the merchant or bank offering the deal.

Accuracy of deal information

Deal details, prices, discounts, eligibility, validity periods, participating cards, and availability may change without notice, and merchants or banks may modify or withdraw an offer at any time.

We work to keep listings current, but we cannot guarantee that every listing is accurate, complete, or up to date at the moment you view it. Before acting on a deal or bank offer, please verify the current terms directly with the merchant or the issuing bank.

Acceptable use

You agree that you will not:

• Extract data from the Service in bulk, whether by automated means or otherwise, without our prior written permission.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code or underlying ideas of any part of the Service.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or probe for vulnerabilities outside a responsible disclosure context.
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or third-party rights.

Intellectual property

Merchant names, logos, trademarks, and branded imagery shown on LokuDeals belong to their respective owners. We display this content to identify and link to each merchant’s offers, and we claim no ownership over it. If you are a rights holder and believe content is displayed in a way you would like us to adjust, please reach out through our contact page.

The layout, design, editorial copy, and original arrangement of listings on LokuDeals are our own and may not be copied or redistributed without permission.

Links to merchants, banks, and third parties

The Service links out to merchant websites, official bank websites, and other third-party destinations. Those sites are operated by parties we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, their offers, or the way they handle your information once you leave LokuDeals.

Messages and deal submissions

Some pages let you send us a message or submit a deal you’ve come across. By doing so, you confirm that the information you share is accurate to the best of your knowledge, that you have the right to share any image or other material you attach, and that the submission does not infringe anyone’s rights or violate applicable law.

Submissions are advisory only. We may publish, edit, decline, or remove any submission at our discretion, and nothing about sending us a message or a deal creates an obligation on our part to publish it, respond, or compensate you. By submitting a deal, you grant us a non-exclusive permission to review the material and, if we choose, to use it as the basis for a public listing on LokuDeals.

Limitation of liability

We provide LokuDeals on an “as is” basis and do our best to keep it useful and accurate, but we cannot promise it will be error-free or always available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, LokuDeals is not liable for any losses you experience as a result of:

• A deal or bank offer being out of date, changed, withdrawn, unavailable, or different from what the merchant or bank ultimately provides.
• Any transaction, application, dispute, or interaction between you and a merchant or bank — these are strictly between you and them.
• Downtime, interruptions, or technical issues that prevent you from accessing the Service or from using its messaging or submission features.
• Anything you rely on the Service for without independently verifying it.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising out of or relating to the Service or these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised terms.
